Pac's vocals sound better to me on the '96 version. The '96 set is still awfully-loud. What's the point of having a good-sounding stereo if you can't turn it up. My amp is an older one, and thus it has no remote control to adjust the volume for discs like these. Hits, I don't recall specifically. Erratic though it may be, All Eyez on Me is nonetheless carried off with the assurance of a legend in his own time, and it stands as 2Pac's magnum opus.
I did a search and found one thread on this, but it's a brief one not even a full page. In that sense, it's an accurate depiction of what made him such a volatile and compelling personality, despite some undeniable filler. Is it me, or is the '96 version almost as loud as the 2001 remaster? Haven't heard the remasters either, nor do I care to. . . . .
